How Aronson Employees Celebrate Father’s Day

With the weather warming up, there’s one day approaching fast: Father’s Day! Celebrated around the world, Father’s Day is an opportunity to recognize father figures and all that they do for us. That’s why we asked our Aronson employees to share how they celebrate the dads in their life. Check out what they had to say below!

Heidi, one of our rock star social media specialists, told us, “My dad loves detailing his cars, and I enjoy learning about auto detailing from him. He used to own a Porsche that he showed (and won with) in concours classes, so he knows his stuff! In the past, when the weather and plans allowed, we would detail our cars together. I’m hoping we can do that for Father’s Day this year.”

Charlie, a member of our PPC team, likes to keep it relaxed, telling us, “We’ll probably get together with family, BBQ will somehow be involved, and hopefully a lot of relaxing. Another favorite part of Father’s Day is that I don’t have to do the dishes.”

Julia, a content writer, and Alli, a social media specialist, also plan to barbeque with their families with music and games. Content writer Hannah will spend the day kayaking with her dad on the Chicago River, while Gianna, another Content Team member, will go fishing with her grandpa if it isn’t too hot; otherwise, “if it is too warm, he loves to play Scrabble…and I may or may not cheat because he is literally so good at it.”

Alex, our Social Media Team Manager, plans to travel back home. “Every year we spend it at my uncle’s pizza and taco restaurant in Savanna, IL. It’s called Manny’s Pizza and…it’s safe to say we’ll overindulge in za and tacs.”

Christian, an SEO specialist, has a rocky relationship with his father, but is hoping to reconnect. “I just bought my first Father’s Day card, I think ever, yesterday. It’s not much, but it’s a start to hopefully a better chapter in our relationship. I’m looking forward to it.”

Grace, another member of our Social Media Team, shared, “a couple of years ago my dad and I got really into the show Breaking Bad and really liked it. For Father’s Day that year I got him a Walter White cutting board. I don’t think he uses it because he doesn’t want to ruin it.”
