The Musicians at Aronson Ads

Working at Aronson Advertising is always entertaining, because we are constantly learning more and more about the hidden talents and hobbies of our coworkers. As a drummer of twelve years, I was curious to see how many others in the office shared a passion for music and also played an instrument. I was delighted to find that our office has quite a few seasoned musicians who are familiar with stages across Chicago!

Jeremy Handel, Content Team

Jeremy is the songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist for his pop punk band, Welcome to Jonestown. They regularly play well-known rock venues such as the Underground Lounge, Reggie’s Rock Club, Elbo Room, and many more! He has been playing guitar for about 10 years and can also hold his own behind a drum kit.

Kayla Kinney, Content Team

A drummer for 15 years and a guitarist for 13, Kayla is very proficient in both! She also dabbles in ukulele on occasion, and has been a singer since she was able to talk.

Ruben Tello, SEO Team

Ruben started playing guitar 15 years ago. While a majority of his playing was done in high school, he states that he still likes to pick up a six-string from time to time!

Jeff Durante, SEO Team

Jeff is the most diverse musician in the group, having played guitar, bass, drums, violin, trumpet, baritone, and piano. He also mentions that he’s been in bands “here and there,” and got his first guitar at the tender age of six!

Tony Esposito, SEO Team

Having played drums, bass, guitar, and piano, Tony is another jack-of-all-instruments on the Aronson SEO team.

Finn’s Embrace, Aronson Office Band

While they’re not the “Aronson Ads Band,” per se, Christian Davis, Mark Villaloboz, and Izzy Mendez all met in the office and formed their indie metal band, Finn’s Embrace. Guitarist and SEO Team member Christian Davis is a master of stringed instruments, having played guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, and piano with a total of 13 years of experience. PPC Team member Mark Villaloboz started out playing drums, but has been playing guitar for the last 13 years and has also dabbled in playing bass. Drummer Izzy Mendez is a member of the Video Production team at Aronson and has been playing drums for six years. While they haven’t played a live show yet, they have been working on recording and practicing diligently!
