In fact, this upcoming Sunday is Make Up Your Own Holiday Day, and itâs exactly what its name suggests. On Make Up Your Own Holiday Day, those who participate are encouraged to let their creative side show. You can take virtually anything you can think of and turn it into a day of celebration.

Take Off Work, Sit in Your Pajamas, Eat Chinese Food, and Watch Friends All Day Day
Similar to Heidiâs holiday, Grace from the Social Media Team wants her made up holiday to be all about taking some time for herself, and weâre pretty sure we canât argue with that. You canât deny that chowing down on some of your favorite Chinese dishes and watching a classic TV show in your comfiest clothes sounds absolutely heavenly.
Let Them Eat Cupcakes Day
Alex, manager of the Social Media Team, would celebrate Let Them Eat Cupcakes Day on his birthday, October 16th. Why cupcakes? They are Alexâs favorite dessert, and he likes them with extra frosting because the more frosting, the better!
Beach Day
Beachcomber Hannah from the Content Team would celebrate Beach Day on the first day of the year to reach 80 degrees. How would one celebrate Beach Day? According to Hannah, participants would take off work and lounge on the beach all day working on a tan and enjoying a good book. But donât worry, landlocked beach lovers. Celebrating at a waterpark or in a hammock are totally acceptable options if youâd like to get in on the festivities.
Durante Day
It seems like SEO Manager Jeff (last name Durante) is claiming March 26th as his own. It is his birthday after all, so I guess we canât fault him for that. Have a great birthday, Jeff!
International Talk Like a Pirate Day
Although this holiday already exists, SEO team member John is putting his own spin on International Talk Like a Pirate Day. As if talking like a pirate isnât fun enough, John wants to go one step further and have participants dress like pirates, as well as throw pirate themed parties, which would involve âraidingâ your friends for their rum. We like where you went this, John. Count us in!
Bring Your Pet to Work Day
Weâre not trying to play favorites, but if we were handing out awards, Website Management Manager and Analytics Team Lead Omar would win for best made up holiday. Can you imagine the overload of cuteness that would ensue at Aronson Advertising and offices around the country? Omar also added that he thinks animals make the world a better place and even help us socialize with other people.
